The convert2swfclient.jar is a Java-based tool that provides methods to convert documents using command line or by calling it from a script. The utility can be used for server automation tasks or executed in the script of a web server, such as ASP, JSP, PHP, etc.

The typical user of this utility is a system administrator or web application developer who needs to:  

• Convert the documents from various document formats, such as PDF or Office (DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, …), into image formats (i.e., BMP, JPG, GIF, PNG, etc.)
• Convert images from one format into PDF or other image formats
• Convert source documents or images into Flash files used by the Prizm client viewer
• Convert source CAD, Office or PDF documents into SVG files used by HTML5 client viewer

The convert2swfclient.jar file can only be run if Prizm Proxy Server service is running. Java Runtime Environment 1.6 or higher needs to be installed on the machine executing the utility.

The utility can be located in the root of <prizm-install>\ folder.
